SEHS Summer 2025 Teen Driver's Ed - Discount Rate - Scholarship

For students who will be under 18 at the time of course completion. In-car lessons can run beyond the last class, and missing classes can delay completion. If 18th birthday is close to the course end date, please contact us before registering. Students must not have taken driver's education before, and must have a valid permit. To be eligible for this extra discount, the parent or guardian enrolling the student must be able to show a SNAP card, TANF paperwork, or documentation showing the student is a foster student, migrant, or homeless when registering.

Classes are on Zoom and driving lessons start and end at South Eugene High School
Class start date: 07-15-2025
Class end date: 08-26-2025 (for classroom portion, in-car lessons can go beyond that)
Class days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Class time: 10am-1pm

Select this class if the student to enroll:

• is between 15-17
• has at least 10 hours of driving practice
• will have an Oregon driving permit by course start date of 07-15-2025
• has not taken driver's ed before
• read the discription about ages and dates on the term's class page and expects to complete the course before turning 18. Call or email first if the student's 18th birthday is soon after the final class date of 08-26-2025.
• can show a document from their school district or ESD showing they are part of a reduced or free lunch program or a parent can show the teacher an Oregon SNAP card
